Artist Spotlight: Jason Madison
A fixture of the Los Angeles hip hop scene of the early 2010’s, native son Jason Madison has returned to crafting music after a 12 year hiatus. In his absence he has built a multifaceted career as a visual story teller and creative visionary having directed scores of music videos for West Coast artists and national brands. Having dedicated much of his career to putting in work behind the camera, he has decided that the time is now to share with the world his debut solo album, Good Grief. The project features a collection of introspective and and uptempo bangers that touch on a range of topics from the pain of losing multiple loved ones to the uncovering of his family’s rich history in Oklahoma. Madison has played the background his whole career. But now, like one of his songs states, he’s on the other side.
